TADNSW actively engages volunteers in the delivery of all services, on the administrative team and in organisation leadership.
TADNSW offers numerous volunteering opportunities and aims to provide its volunteers with a satisfying and rewarding experience in applying their skills to help people with disabilities and their carers.
This is what long time volunteers say about their experience with us:
"TAD is a wonderful organisation and you get a great feeling from the staff who are so helpful and so patient with the volunteers" - Ian (volunteer for 5 years)
"My wife was sick for a long time and that gave me a leaning towards assisting people with disabilities. My involvement with TAD gives me satisfaction in knowing that I've been able to do a good job and help other people." - Bill (volunteer for 12 years)
"I've been working with computers most of my professional life and being a firm believer in giving back to the community, I decided to volunteer for TAD's Computer Loans Service when I retired." - Kevin (volunteer for 6 years)
